About TrackMySarkar

Independent civic accountability — built in Nepal, for Nepal.

What is TrackMySarkar?

TrackMySarkar is an independent, non-partisan civic project that tracks the progress of manifesto promises made by political parties in Nepal. We collect the promises parties make before elections, then systematically record what actually happens after they form government — using publicly available evidence.

Why does it exist?

Voters in Nepal deserve a clear, accessible record of whether their elected representatives delivered on what they promised. Political manifestos are often long, technical documents that disappear from public memory once elections are over.

TrackMySarkar exists to close that gap — making government accountability visible, searchable, and shareable.

How is data sourced?

Promises are extracted directly from official party manifestos published before elections. Every update logged on this site is linked to a publicly verifiable source — government press releases, parliament session records, official ministry announcements, or credible news reporting.

We do not accept updates without evidence. See our Methodology page for full details on how we evaluate promise status, and our Sources page for the types of evidence we use.

Who runs it?

TrackMySarkar is maintained by an independent team with no affiliation to any political party, government institution, or foreign funded organisation. We operate independently and are not funded by any political or government body. For more information, see our Terms & Disclaimer.
